LendPal is designed to be a private, personal tool. Your financial arrangements with friends and family are your business.
1. Information we do not collect
- We do not create user accounts. Your data is stored on your device or in your private iCloud account.
- We cannot see the names, loan amounts, payments, or descriptions you enter.
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number through the app.
2. Anonymous diagnostics
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand general app usage and diagnose crashes. This may include anonymous events, device type, iOS version, and the code location of a crash. It does not include the personal loan data you enter.
3. Local and iCloud storage
Names, loans, and payments are stored on your device. If you use the premium iCloud sync feature, that data is stored in your private Apple CloudKit container. We do not have access to that container.
4. Contact
If you email us for support, we use your contact information only to respond to your request. Questions can be sent to lendpal.sup@gmail.com.
5. Third-party services
- Google Privacy Policy — Firebase analytics and crash reporting.
- Apple Privacy Policy — iCloud and App Store purchases.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
